Summary
We are looking for an Assembly Operative to join our tambour door
production team.
Responsibilities include:
▪ Working on the assembly line and producing our products based on
specific measurements, calculations, drawings or instructions under the
supervision of a Level 2 Assembly Operative or Supervisor;
▪ Packing boxes, loading and unloading materials and finished goods and
adhering to safety protocols;
▪ Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects;
▪ Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the
assembly line to Supervisor/Production & Site Manager;
▪ Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that
operations run smoothly
Your Profile:
▪ Previous experience in this type of role;
▪ Able to work individually and as part of a team;
▪ You will be attentive to detail:
▪ Takes pride in your work;
▪ The ability to understand and receive instructions;
▪ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced
environment;
▪ The ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment (within
safety guidelines);
▪ Ability to work on one’s own initiative;
▪ Good knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols
and regulations;
▪ A forklift licence would be an advantage, but not
essential;
▪ A solid understanding of production machinery and
proper assembly procedures would be an advantage,
but not essential;
▪ An ability to read and interpret technical drawings and
schematics would be an advantage, but not essential
production team.
