Summary
Hope Housing East Yorkshire are recruiting for a part time Housing Support Worker.
Hope Housing East Yorkshire provides low level supported housing for vulnerable people in Hull and East Riding.
Days and times to be discussed.
Car Owner and driver essential. Mileage paid.
Role:
• To provide advice and support to service users.
• To carry out at least one weekly visit to service users.
• To monitor service users journey using support plans
• To complete case notes.
• Must have or willing to work towards NVQ level 3 or equivalent
• Have minimum 2 years experience within Support Worker role
• Have minimum of 1 years experience of working within Supported Housing
• Excellent communication and IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Have good knowledge of welfare benefits and housing benefit entitlement
• Knowledge of local statutory and voluntary support agencies
• Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to manage a caseload.
• Ability to deal with difficult situations
• Current full driving licence
