Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift / Ride-On Pallet Truck Driver to join our warehouse operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods, supporting daily warehouse activities, and ensuring high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Working Pattern:
Shift Pattern: 5 days on, 2 days off
Shift Times:
6:45am start or
9:00am start
Shifts rotate on a weekly basis
Overtime: Opportunity for a 6th day of overtime during peak and holiday periods
Weekends: Role will include weekend working as part of the rota
Key Responsibilities:
Operating forklift trucks and ride-on pallet trucks safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading deliveries
Moving, stacking, and organising stock within the warehouse
Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
Conducting daily equipment checks and reporting any defects
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Adhering to all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
Valid forklift and/or ride-on pallet truck licence (preferred), internal training and licence opportunities
Previous warehouse or logistics experience desirable
Good attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends
