Summary
You’ll lead the way by:
Assisting the Lead Coach of Gymnastics and wider Cardiff Met Junior Sport team in the delivery of high-quality Gymnastics coaching.
Supporting our participants / athletes in their development of all elements of Gymnastics, from recreational classes through to our performance groups.
Assist in teaching and refining of gymnastics routines for various events (e.g., floor, vault, bars, beam).
Monitor gymnasts during practice to ensure they are performing exercises safely.
Collaborate with the Lead Coach to develop and refine training programmes, offering feedback on what is working well and what could be improved.
What you’ll Bring
You’ll use your previous experience of coaching & working within a sports coaching environment and understanding of the importance of customer care to provide an outstanding service to our Gymnastics participants. Your knowledge of industry standards and national governing body policies will ensure that our Gymnastics programmes are both safe and of the highest standards.
Additionally you’ll have:
Level 1 Coaching Qualification (or above) in gymnastics.
Superb team working skills, able to work effectively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for participants.
Experience working with customers and parents.
