Summary
Electrical Shift Engineer – 4 on 4 off shift - Commercial building – Heathrow, Greater London – up to £48,000 Per annum
Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in London. CBW is currently recruiting for a shift engineer to be based at a commercial building in Heathrow. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified electrical engineer with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance, and be able to turn their hand to a variety of maintenance tasks. He or she will be required to carry out electrical planned and reactive maintenance across this large commercial building. Working with the maintenance team on site. He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. Package & Hours of Work
- up to £48,000
- 4 on 4 off days and nights 06:00 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 06:00
- Uniform and Tools Provided
- Cycle to work scheme

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
- Emergency lighting tests
- Changing Ballast
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
- Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
- Maintain and update Log books
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Water flushing / temp checks logs
- Boosted water pumps
- Ensure that the Contractual efficiently meets all the relevant KPI & SLA requirements.
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
Requirements
- Electrically qualified - Level 2 or 3 (C&G, NVQ, EAL ect)
- Experience working in a large commercial building
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer skills
- Must be able to get to the site for 07:00 am start
