We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated individual, to take on an exciting opportunity in the role of Support Worker. This role is a unique opportunity for those looking to take develop their abilities in working with people who are homeless and experiencing difficult times. Ty Gobaith provides transitional hostel accommodation and person centred support, focusing on the strengths and abilities of those who call our life house their home. Key Responsibilities:The role of Support Worker with The Salvation Army is an inspirational one and key to achieving successful outcomes for clients. As a motivated and dynamic Support Worker you will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality programme of support which promotes client choice and control.Successful candidate will have: Address client support needs, enable them to achieve positive life changes and ultimately empower them to lead more sustainable lifestyles.Be able to work as part of a team, supporting colleague across the centre to deliver high quality support.Be proactive in taking on duty management responsibilities and assisting in the successful operation of the Lifehouse.
