Bethany CE Junior School is a vibrant, nurturing community in the heart of Boscombe, Bournemouth. As part of the Coastal Learning Partnership - a collaborative family of twenty schools - we are committed to inspiring excellence and supporting every member of our team to thrive. We are now looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 teacher who will bring energy, creativity and a passion for learning to our school. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about nurturing confident, curious, and independent learners, and who is eager to make a meaningful impact on children at a pivotal stage in their primary education. You will be joining a supportive team that values creativity, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for every pupil.
A suitable candidate will have:
• A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that promote high achievement.
• A passion for creating an inclusive and positive classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
• Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to inspire enthusiasm, maintain high expectations, and build positive relationships with pupils.
• A reflective and proactive approach to teaching, with a willingness to embrace new ideas and contribute to the wider life of the school.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and external partners.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to continually grow as an educator.
ECTs are welcome to apply for this position. *The start date for the position is flexible – a Spring 2 start would be ideal; however, a start after the Easter holidays shall also be considered.
