Goldthorpe Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our academy as soon as possible. This post is temporary until 31 August 2026 and is specifically linked to SEN funding.

Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. You may carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.

Goldthorpe Primary School lies at the heart of the local community. It was located on the previous site since 1903 which means we were there for 113 years! In the summer of 2016 we relocated to our new site and opened our doors in September 2016. There are currently 264 pupils on roll.
