Summary
Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire - travel to the office and developer sites required with some remote working available.Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
Salary: £58,000 - £62,000 per year + £5.9k annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits

What will you be responsible for?As a Team Leader, you'll be leading the development management site inspection team, ensuring compliance with specifications, and fostering collaborative relationships with developers and contractors on new streets and works within the existing highway to facilitate development.
Your day to day will include:
-Leading and mentoring a team of site inspectors, developing their skills and ensuring high performance
-Monitoring developer works for compliance with approved documentation and specifications
-Monitor works within the highway to ensure operational and public safety, including traffic management compliance
-Liaising with developers, designers, contractors, and the local highway authority's development management and technical audit teams to identify and agree any design changes required to deliver compliant, high‑quality schemes
-Ensuring health and safety compliance on all projects
What are we looking for?This role of Team Leader is great if you:
-Have an HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in civil engineering or relevant experience
-Bring significant experience supervising highway works on site, including knowledge of Section 38 and 278 processes
-Understand Safety at Street Works and Road Works code of practice
-In depth knowledge and understanding of CDM
-Ability to follow technical, legal and administrative procedures accurately and consistently
