As Construction Manager at Wanlip, you'll be contributing to a vital project that enhances resilience and capacity for over 2.4 million people. What will you be responsible for?As a Construction Manager, you'll be working within the Severn Trent Water team, supporting them in delivering improved wastewater treatment capabilities. Your day to day will include:
-Leading site safety initiatives and fostering a positive safety culture through meaningful engagement
-Managing resources efficiently, including labour, plant, materials and supply chain relationships
-Collaborating with the Commercial Team on financial management and change control
-Ensuring all construction activities meet quality standards and project specifications
-Overseeing progress against established timelines using Last Planner techniques
What are we looking for?This role of Construction Manager is great for you if:
-You have experience in construction management, particularly within the water or utilities sector
-You possess relevant safety qualifications such as IOSH Managing Safely and SMSTS
-You're confident in coordinating multiple teams and nurturing collaborative working relationships
-You have strong communication skills and can build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders
-You're comfortable working with project management methodologies and Microsoft Office applications
