Summary

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our HMP Glasgow team based in Glasgow.

Location: Onsite Glasgow North East of Glasgow city

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday

Are you ready to contribute to a flagship £750M project that will transform Glasgow's custodial facilities? As Project Manager for the HMP Glasgow project, you'll lead the construction of the £45M front of house element - the welcoming face of this modern rehabilitation-focused facility. This exciting role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a project that will serve the community for generations to come.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Project Manager, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering a modern, rehabilitation-focused facility. Your day to day will include:

-Leading the successful delivery of the front of house building, managing performance of H&S, site teams, and subcontractors to achieve programme requirements

-Collaborating with the commercial team to monitor and report on financial status while ensuring adherence to quality standards

-Building excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders, nurturing partnerships that create ongoing opportunities

-Mentoring and supporting your team, sharing your expertise to help develop others

-Ensuring all work complies with Kier's health, safety and environmental policies



What are we looking for?

This role of Project Manager is great for you if:

-You have significant experience in delivering large-scale construction projects, particularly steel frame buildings

-You're skilled at managing project budgets and programmes with a keen eye for detail and quality

-You thrive when nurturing and developing teams to achieve exceptional results

-You have excellent communication skills and can build strong collaborative relationships

-You possess relevant construction qualifications (HND/Degree or equivalent), SMSTS, CSCS Card, and a full driving licence
