Product Designer
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Job Type: At least 3 days within the office. - full time.
A leading UK manufacturer of contemporary furniture is seeking an experienced Product Designer to join a creative, values‑driven team. If you're passionate about sustainable, functional design and want to see your work used in real outdoor spaces, this role offers the perfect opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new products from concept to manufacture
- Improve and evolve existing product ranges
- Produce production drawings, BOMs and installation guides
- Create and maintain 2D & 3D CAD models
- Support bespoke client projects
- Manage product data within the ERP system
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Production
Requirements
- Degree in Product, Industrial or Design Engineering
- 5+ years' experience in product development
- Strong 2D/3D CAD skills (Inventor or similar)
- Understanding of sheet metal manufacturing
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
- Eligible to work in the UK
