Here at UHD we are offering a supported Return to Practice Programme for AHPs and HCS!
If you’re a qualified AHP or HCS looking to return to practice and have previously been on the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) register and live in Dorset or nearby, we want to hear from you!
We can offer a flexible programme of Return to Practice and are interested in hearing from both full and part-time applicants and are happy to discuss individual requirements.
What we offer
Our Return to Practice Programme, includes coaching, formal continued professional development, and where available, supervised placement practice. Our philosophy is to provide support for you to return to your career, not just the register.

• The opportunity to apply for registered roles within the trust on achievement of your HCPC registration (where available).
Please note - this vacancy is for professions recognised by the HCPC and will be in the form of an Honorary Contract (unpaid) position until you have completed your 30- or 60-days to meet HCPC re-registration requirements.
What we need from you .
You will be required to:
• Register with the NHSE Return to Practice Programme where NHSE have funding available to support your Return to Practice.
• Complete Trust Induction
• Complete competency portfolio evidencing your updated skills and knowledge
• Promote the trust values throughout your contract.
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital or Poole Hospital. Some cross site working may be required.
