Summary
The post holder will consistently work in an accurate, effective and efficient manner to support the provision of a high quality service to patients, trust staff and departments. The post holder will work alongside a team of Pharmacy Senior Assistant
Technical Officers (SATOs) at the Stores and Distribution base site (Royal Free),
with rotation to the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) as required.
They will be responsible for managing medicine returns from wards and
outpatient areas, accurately ordering/ picking of all stock medicines requested
from wards and departments, hatch duty, stock receipt and stock control.
They will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Stores Team in the
provision of an efficient service to all users and in the day to day running of
Pharmacy Stores Department following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
And they will behave in a manner that is sensitive and that always ensures
patient confidentiality.
