Make a real difference while others sleep

At Dimensions, every night is an opportunity to create safety, comfort and reassurance for the people we support. As a Female Waking Nights Support Worker in Stanwell, you'll play an essential role in supporting people to feel secure, respected and well-cared-for throughout the night.

We're a leading not-for-profit organisation supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism. Here, you'll be part of a warm, inclusive team where you can be you, grow your skills, and take pride in meaningful work.

Who you'll be supporting

You'll be joining a friendly home supporting five people. They are outgoing, fun, and enjoy a range of interests—from theatre trips and wrestling on TV to karaoke nights, shopping outings, and meals at their favourite places.

While this is a waking-night role, you'll be supporting their comfort, safety and wellbeing so they can enjoy those daytime experiences.

What your waking-night role includes

Your nights will focus on delivering consistent, respectful support so each person feels safe and cared for. Duties may include:

- Regular night checks to ensure wellbeing

- Repositioning for comfort and pressure care

- Assistance with personal care when needed

- Using hoists and moving & handling equipment

- Supporting people with varied communication needs

- Completing documentation and accurate night records

- Light household tasks to maintain a comfortable environment

You'll always have support from your team and manager, and full training is provided—including for behaviours of distress, moving & handling, and communication.

What we're looking for
