Looking for an additional income? A rewarding role and a chance to make a real difference?
For genuine occupational reasons we are looking to appoint a female candidate only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).

You will join our amazing Community Service team in Whiltland, Carmarthenshire.

This is a permanent role working 4 hours per week - x2 2 hour sessions per week (will be discussed further at interview). Knowledge of or qualification in British Sign Language or similar is desirable( BSL / Makaton etc).

You will be supporting a deaf elderly woman in her 90s with her correspondence, everyday household tasks, and companionship. She communicates by writing and speaking. Her son, who has sensory loss and uses British Sign Language (BSL) for communication, resides with her and has his own support worker.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable around two friendly dogs and have a kind, respectful approach to supporting individuals in their home environment. BSL proficiency is a plus but not essential. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who values making a positive impact to someone's life.

To be considered for this role we require you to have a Full UK Driving License with use of your own vehicle and business insurance.
