Summary
Pay: From £13.50 per hour
Job Description:
Nortam Finishing offers specialist paint finishes to sectors such as Commercial, Aerospace, Defence and Medical. This is a very busy factory where a high level of attention to detail is required.
General duties include:
Assist paint sprayers in preparation of work.
Preparing metal work for painting, including sanding down of components.
Basic masking of metal components before they go to be painted.
Degreasing metal components.
Filling of metal components.
Packing of finished work.
Shot blasting.
General workshop duties.
General health and safety.
Forklift trained is advantageous, but not required.
Completion of relevant paperwork is necessary, so a good understanding of the English language and a certain level of literacy is required.
This job would suit someone that has a good attention to detail and takes pride in their work. Candidate must be able to work as part of a team and also be able to work on their own.
Full training will be given.
Full time position: 36.75 hours per week. Working hours are Monday-Thursday: 0800-1700, Friday: 0800-1300
