Summary
The post holder will provide a high-quality phlebotomy and cannulation service that offers the best possible standards of patient care. Collect blood samples safely with due respect to the dignity of patients, and the needs of other clinical services, and to ensure blood samples are collected in appropriate containers, labelled correctly, and prepared and dispatched to relevant laboratory sections in a timely and accurate manner. Assist in the provision of individualised care, under the supervision of a qualified nurse and others in the health care professional team.
