Summary
Provides advice and information on the management of alcohol to senior nurses and junior medical staff. Provides case presentation of complex patients to senior medical staff. Provides updates/information about relevant changes or developments within own specialty to managers/ directors and clinical directors. Provides complex and sensitive information to relatives and carers about their condition relevant investigations and the options for treatment. Frequent discussion with external agencies offering advice re referral and management of alcohol problems, also updates on the patients clinical condition, results of investigations and future management of their condition.
