An amazing and rare opportunity has arrived for a part time Band 6 Community Link Nurse to join our outstanding NN3 Community Nursing team. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone looking to upskill from a Band 5 position with full support and training offered.

We are looking for an experienced registered nurse to join our dedicated and highly professional team of Community/District nurses working in Aylsham and surrounding areas.

This role will offer the opportunity for both clinical and leadership development, whilst working in a caring, friendly and supportive team.

You will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of complex patients with a wide variety of health needs of acute or chronic presentation, visiting them within their own homes, care homes, the travelling community and in clinics. We are looking for a nurse who is committed to delivering high standards of care. You will supervise Band 5 Community Nurses and other members of the nursing team, and work closely with the therapy staff to assist the patient to achieve maximal function and independence. In addition, you will support the Clinical Lead Nurse with managerial responsibilities.

You will need effective communication skills and must be prepared to work flexibly and collaboratively to meet the needs of the service. It is essential to have evidence of professional competencies and have the ability to apply your knowledge and skills to clinical practice. A sound understanding and knowledge of the current drive to transform community services is an essential requirement.

Norfolk Community Health and Care is going through organisational development and you will be expected to contribute to service and quality development of the domiciliary service, such as new ways of working and clinical audits. You will receive support and development through in-service training, regular appraisals, a personal development plan and clinical supervision.

If this post excites you and you are looking to improve your quality of life working in North Norfolk, we look forward to your application. If you wish to discuss any aspects please contact Carré Varley, Clinical Operations Manager: email carre.varley@nchc.nhs.uk
