Our client, a leading provider of educational services in the West Midlands, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team in Erdington. This full-time role offers a competitive daily rate of £110 - £120, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for supporting young learners and making a positive impact on their lives.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective behaviour management strategies to help students overcome challenges and reach their full potential. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a safe and nurturing learning environment that fosters academic progress and personal growth.

Your primary duties will include:
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties
- Collaborating with teachers to develop and deliver targeted interventions and strategies to address challenging behaviours
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting support plans as needed
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation of student behaviour and progress
- Communicating regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and any concerns
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and coordinate support services

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and experience:
- Extensive knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different situations and individuals
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students overcome their challenges
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to SEND and safeguarding
- Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in psychology, education, or a related field, or equivalent experience
