Mortimer House School is seeking a skilled and dedicated English Teacher to join our passionate and supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with vulnerable young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), helping to further enhance our specialist provision and support learners in achieving positive outcomes.
Mortimer House is a secondary school (Key Stages 3, 4 and 5) specialising in supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Our approach is underpinned by PACE, emotion coaching, and trauma-informed, restorative practices. We offer a broad and bespoke curriculum that prioritises equity, opportunity, and holistic progress, ensuring our pupils are well prepared for adulthood. Young people can remain with us until the age of 18, allowing for consistency, stability, and meaningful progress.
