We are currently seeking a committed and resilient Learning Support Assistant to join an exclusion unit in Bury. This is a full-time role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The role involves supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour, helping them to re-engage with learning in a structured, supportive environment.
About the role
• Supporting pupils within an exclusion unit setting
• Managing and responding to challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner
• Building positive relationships to support pupils' emotional and academic development
• Working closely with teaching staff and senior leaders to support behaviour and learning plans
Essential requirements
• Experience working with challenging behaviour
• A confident, patient, and resilient approach
• A current Enhanced DBS (essential)
• Ability to work full time and start immediately
