We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs across the curriculum. This role focuses on helping learners engage positively with their education, while promoting independence, confidence, and consistent routines within a supportive and nurturing environment.
The school is a diverse, mainstream secondary setting that provides structured and targeted support for students with additional needs. Staff work closely together to ensure all learners feel safe, valued, and supported to make strong academic and personal progress.
In this role, you will support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), helping them access learning, regulate emotions, and develop positive engagement strategies. The position requires an understanding of the Helicopter approach, alongside consistent and calm behaviour guidance.
