Summary
Qualified Nursery Practitioners will be responsible for ensuring children are safe and happy in a nurturing and welcoming environment.
Adhere to our settings policies and procedures, ensure Health and Safety legislation is followed and follow the EYFS curriculum to deliver educational activities.
Practitioners must plan safe activities and be able to observe the children and record their progress in all 7 areas of learning.
Coach and mentor apprentices so that they develop the skills and knowledge required to be able to carry out tasks as required by the nursery setting.
Liaise with parents and carers about their child's day, liaise with non childcare staff and where necessary liaise with outside agencies.
Safeguard children from all harmful behaviour and actions from outside or within the setting and report concerns as necessary.
