Senior Social Worker (Children's) CAP
Description
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Social Worker (Children's) CAP to join our dedicated team in providing essential social services to children and their families. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of children’s and families’ needs.
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment findings.
Provide counseling and support to children and their families to address emotional and social challenges.
Collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure holistic support for children.
Advocate for children’s rights and needs within various systems, including legal and educational.
Mentor and supervise junior social workers and interns, enhancing their skills and professional development.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in social work, preferably focusing on children and families.
Valid social work license and credentials in the relevant jurisdiction.
Strong understanding of child development, family dynamics, and trauma-informed practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and take leadership when necessary.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £22.91
