About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant at Brick Lane School, you won’t just support learning — you’ll help shape lives. You’ll work closely with pupils who have a range of needs and strengths, supporting them through personalised learning journeys built on trust, encouragement, and consistency.

You’ll assist with preparing engaging lessons, delivering hands-on activities, and providing essential emotional and physical support. Whether supporting learning in the classroom or facilitating outdoor activities, no two days will be the same.

You’ll be part of a supportive, close-knit team that values your contribution and encourages your professional development as you grow in confidence and experience.

What You’ll Do

Support pupils with varied and complex needs to access learning and develop independence
Assist with the preparation and delivery of classroom and practical activities
Provide tailored emotional, physical, and social support
Work flexibly across classroom and outdoor learning environments
Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
About You

You will have:

Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English
A compassionate, adaptable approach to supporting pupils
A willingness to embrace a dynamic, hands-on role within a school setting
