Summary
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Building – Moorgate, London- Up to £46,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Moorgate, London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial building located in the heart of Central London. The building has 10 stories that are spread across approximately 220,000 sq ft of luxury office space, and also features a communal roof terrace where workers can gather, have informal meetings, or relax with views over the city - great for after-work socialising. Major transportation hubs, such as Liverpool Street Station and Moorgate Station, are all within a 7-minute walk from the prestigious site.
The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified (C&G, NVQ or apprenticeship trained) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working alongside a team of 4, you will be required to carry out PPM & Reactive maintenance across the site. In return, the company is willing to offer a competitive salary of up to £46,000.00, 25 days holiday, + Bank Holidays, private healthcare, £100 Stand-by awarded for 1 in 4 call-out rota, company pension scheme, and overtime available if desired.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday –07:00 am to 16:00 pm / 10:00 am to 19:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor mechanical plant
- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
- Monitor the BMS systems.
- Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
- General building fabric
- Escort specialist subcontractors
Requirements:
- Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 (Essential)
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Client Facing
