A leading facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Shift Technician to support operations at a high-profile corporate banking environment in Canary Wharf. This is a long-term temporary opportunity working within a critical, fast-paced commercial site.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across building services systems
Monitor and maintain mechanical and electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency
Respond promptly to faults, breakdowns and technical issues
Complete maintenance records and compliance documentation accurately
Support building operations to ensure service delivery meets client and regulatory standards
Liaise with contractors and site teams when required
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Shift Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role within commercial or corporate environments
Strong understanding of building services including mechanical and electrical systems
Relevant engineering or technical qualifications preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a shift team
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Right to work in the UK
