Summary
Due to expansion we are seeking to appoint vehicle mechanics/fitters to join our team providing a comprehensive service within the motor trade industry for fleet services.
With vacancies available across our depots based in Axminster, Cullompton & Blandford, the successful candidates will ideally be experienced in a wide range of mechanics and will be expected to work both as part of a team or on their own, working to tight deadlines and maintaining high standards at all times. Various shifts are available to suit the right candidates. Night shifts are also available. Working both at the workshop & out in the field a degree of flexibility is required to suit the needs of the business. Excellent rates of pay for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Perform common maintenance and repair operations as well as specialist repairs.
Be prepared to travel to customer's premises and carry out onsite repairs as required
Maintaining a professional standard at all times, particularly when at customer's premises
Good housekeeping to maintain workshop standard
Qualifications
Mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance and repair preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment an advantage
Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
