A well-established business with global reach based in Doncaster is looking to bring on an experienced finance & payroll professional for an immediate start, joining the team on a 6-8-month contract, with potential for further extension.

- Up to £36,000
German speaking would be a bonus for this role, but not essential.
Your new role
Our client is currently seeking interim support within their EMEA payroll team. The role will involve assisting with end‑to‑end payroll operations within a non‑UK shared service centre, ensuring all payroll data is accurately validated and submitted in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities include ensuring payroll is accurately processed and reported in line with month‑end journals and forecasts. The successful candidate must be comfortable working with financial statements up to trial balance level.
- Maintain full compliance with country‑specific payroll legislation, statutory requirements, and internal governance standards.
- Uphold rigorous control standards, protecting confidential information and maintaining strong audit readiness.
- Act as a point of escalation for payroll queries, providing expert guidance and timely resolution.
- Partner closely with Finance, HR, Global Payroll teams, and third‑party vendors to seamless payroll operations.
- Produce accurate payroll reporting and forecasts.
What you'll need to succeed
- Available on short notice or immediately available
- Experience in a like-for-like finance and payroll vacancy
- System knowledge of SAP
- Strong understanding of journals and month-end processes
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ideally, AAT qualified but will consider QBE.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business
