Person Specification-Admin
We are looking for someone who :
- Can work as part of a team and use their initiative when working independently,
- Has experience of working in a reception or an administration environment,
- Can provide routine clerical support e.g photocopying, filing, shredding, completing routine forms,
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills – the ability to relate well with children and adults,
- Has experience of prioritising and managing tasks, has effective organisational skills and the ability to work on their own,
- Has confidence to ensure all school policies, including safeguarding, health and safety etc are brought to the attention of visitors,
- Has a good knowledge of computer systems and IT based tasks, including Microsoft office,
- Has knowledge and ability to download data/pictures from cameras/tablets and save to a school server,
- Has a smart appearance and friendly disposition,
- Has school based experience of management and operation of administrative/computerised systems (knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage)
- Can create various school displays,
- Will assist pupils who are unwell, telephoning parents and supervising until collection,
- Can maintain stocks and supplies, cataloguing resources and distributing as required.
