Summary

KS1 Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for KS1 Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Hounslow and the surrounding areas, delivering engaging and supportive learning experiences across Key Stage 1.Duties as KS1 Teacher:
  • Deliver engaging and age‑appropriate lessons across the KS1 curriculum using provided plans
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support a diverse range of learning needs
  • Assess and record pupil progress when required
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to support whole‑school objectives
  • Contribute to wider school life during longer‑term placements
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early primary pedagogy
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Flexible and adaptable across varied school environments
  • Positive, nurturing, and child‑centred approach to teaching
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
