Summary

Coordinate and organise the MBBS programmes for the students/doctors joining the Trust. Contact patients inviting them to attend patient structured teaching - Ensuring there are sufficient number of patient volunteers. To ensure that all relevant paperwork and authorisations are in place prior to commencement of students. The post holder is required to represent the Trust at Health Education England and School Meetings and implement any changes that are required to programmes and reporting. The post holder will support the Director of Clinical Skills and the Programme Directors for the delivery of curriculum mandated by the UEA and respective Schools. The post holder will be required to communicate frequently with medical schools, as listed previously, each with specific requirements. Communication is also required with medical students and the key relationships that they will have within the Trust. The support for medical students and their rotations will require excellent planning and organisational skills. There is a requirement for the post holder to attend and represent the Trust at Medical School meetings, implementing any changes that are required supporting the Undergraduate Sub-Dean/DME The post holder will be required to analyse data and maintain data sets in order for coherent reporting. The post holder will be required to work with the Specialist Tutors within the Trust who hold Education and Training requirements. The work for this support is managed rather than supervised and there is a requirement to work independently. The post holder will also need to liaise with technical skills team regarding training/simulation events, inductions etc. The post holder will be required to assist with the development and implementation of new policies/procedures/guidelines. The post holder must be prepared to travel to meetings and events, as required (any travel costs incurred will be reimbursed) Please refer to the Job Description for the full specification of responsibilities and requirements for this post.
