We are seeking a dedicated and organised Housekeeping Deputy Manager to support the smooth running of a busy, city-centre office environment.
In this role, you’ll help ensure that offices, meeting rooms, and communal spaces remain clean, professional, and welcoming throughout the day. Your work will directly support a productive, healthy workplace where people can perform at their best.
Job Description

With a Monday-Friday schedule and occasional weekend work, this role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a meaningful impact every day.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Housekeeping Manager in supervising the housekeeping team across offices, meeting rooms, and hospitality spaces.
Coordinate daily schedules, allocate tasks, and monitor performance to uphold high standards.
Support with training, mentoring, and motivating staff to ensure consistent service quality.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene requirements, fostering a positive safety culture.
Manage stock levels of cleaning materials and equipment, liaising with suppliers as needed.
Lead the department in the manager’s absence to maintain smooth, effective operations.
Identify improvements and efficiencies to enhance overall service delivery.
Oversee specialist services such as window cleaning and pest control.
Produce periodic cleaning schedules with FM, monitor completed tasks, and address any gaps.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Previous experience in housekeeping or facilities management, ideally in a supervisory role.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A people-focused leader who can motivate and support a diverse team.
High attention to detail and pride in maintaining exceptional standards.
Flexible, proactive, and adaptable to the needs of a busy workplace.
