We are seeking an exceptional Trainee Teacher of Maths to join our thriving and ambitious secondary school in the London Borough of Southwark. This is a permanent, full-time role beginning with a fully supported Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme from September 2026.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a high-achieving graduate to:

• Train as a Mathematics teacher in a high-performing inner London school
• Gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through our ITT programme
• Join a strong, collaborative Maths department with outstanding results
• Progress into a permanent teaching role within the school

The ideal candidate

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have:

• A first-class or 2:1 degree in Mathematics (or closely related subject)
• Graduated from a Russell Group or top UK university
• A strong academic background in Maths
• A desire to inspire and support young people in an inner-city setting
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to professional development

Teaching experience is not essential — we are looking for potential, passion, and subject excellence.
