Summary

​Equans is looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Manchester on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package. The role holder will lead and deliver project solutions to budget , time and quality requirements and manage matrix project teams to deliver various project delivery solutions effectively, utilising in-house resource and sub-contractor arrangements as appropriate. The role holder will leading on a variety of key projects in their delivery and lifecycle management as well as maintaining compliance, providing accurate and up to date reporting through to engaging with our Client and sub-contractors onsite. This role is for Greater Manchester Police (GMP)DBS Enhanced required What will you deliver? Ensure all Projects are managed, operated and completed with uncompromised efficiency, on time and to budget.Liaison with all relevant parties involved with Projects, including working with the Client to interpret and develop a brief/scope of works in order achieving sign off prior to works commencement, planning, during the works and through to completion.Follow the Company and on-site Developments process ensuring all relevant documentation is prepared/completed including the provision of costs, programmes, risk analysis, PPP works documentation etc.Ensure all Project files are maintained to provide a fully auditable administrative trail in line with ISO accreditation.Procurement of an overall plan for works (including design, procurement, PPP pack review and sign off, works/construction, commissioning, training etc) for the Project to ensure the completion date is achieved and without incident.Procure competent Contractors to carry out the design, works/construction and commissioning of the proposed development.Monitor the progress of the design, works/construction and commissioning activities and action accordingly to ensure the works are completed within the time, budget, and safety and to the required quality.Liaison and management of the performance of preferred suppliers/subcontractors to include controlling, scheduling and coordinating sub-contractors working on site, ensuring all Company and on-site procedures are followed such as Inductions, CRB clearance, competence etc.The Project manager with carrying out Project review meetings in line with Project Management good practice.Remain customer focused at all times. Deliver value for money and ensure the agreed profit percentage is made on all Projects.Provide management information as required to support decision making.Provide regular updated financial reporting and reconciliations on Projects.Ensure all work activities are carried out safely and in accordance with statutory and corporate regulations and legislation, Standards and Specifications.Ensure all data and management information is maintained and communicated accurately to agreed deadlines by the Head of Facilities, Equans Management colleagues or as requested by the client.Support the retention of ISO14001 and environmental focus to reduce carbon emissions and utilities consumption.What can we offer you? Technically competent in a variety fields of project management delivery environment (e.g. as principle / prime contractor, management fee or under traditional contracting or design and build arrangements). Able to successfully deliver projects from inception to completion – end to end with a hands-on approach.Financially driven with ability to deliver or exceed agreed margin, understanding of business systems and adept in seeing their adherence and development. Project budgetary P&L experience and responsibility Well-developed client facing and customer services skills and the ability to cope with demanding and varied customer requirements. RICS, CIOB, CEng, Graduate or Higher Technician status in a construction technological field – likely to be building services, with at least 3 years of varied contracting and/or PM consultancy experience.
