About the role
This is a newly created role working within a dynamic and growing team who achieve big things! The Services Development Officer will support the design, development and implementation of innovative welfare and wellbeing services, and the enhancement of existing services. Working collaboratively with the wider development team and a range of internal and external partners, the postholder will champion cocreation and coproduction approaches to ensure that service users are central to every stage of design and delivery.
Primary responsibilities include
Support the creation and implementation of new welfare and wellbeing services, and the enhancement of existing services, managing projects from initial concept through to launch and early delivery.
Collaborate with agile project teams and facilitate their work to create and develop the Association’s welfare and wellbeing services.
Champion a creative and results-oriented culture, working closely with stakeholders, including the Research team, to identify opportunities and ensure evidence-based decision making.
Apply robust project reporting frameworks, policies and processes to monitor progress against targets and ensure delivery is achieved within scope and budget.
Identify opportunities to collaborate with beneficiaries, external partners and key stakeholders to further develop welfare and wellbeing services.
Act as an ambassador for the Association, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to promote and champion the Association’s welfare and wellbeing services.
About you
Educated to degree level, or with equivalent relevant professional experience, you will have a record of accomplishment in supporting the development and delivery of new products or services. Previous service development or project management experience is highly desirable for this role. It is essential that you demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to present clearly and persuasively to a range of internal and external stake holders. We need you to be resourceful, innovative and self-motivated with strong problem solving skills as you and you will be managing multiple projects and deadlines.
