Summary

We are looking to recruit a friendly and reliable casual Café Assistant to join our team at the Walled Garden Café, a busy community café nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Tilgate Park.

Key Duties include:

Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service
Take customer orders accurately and process payments
Prepare and serve hot drinks
Operate coffee machines, and other café equipment safely
Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and workstations
Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times
Restock supplies
Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
Work collaboratively with team members during busy periods
Open and close the café according to procedures (if required)
This role is zero hours and ideal for someone available during school holidays and weekends. You will receive accredited training and annual leave entitlement based on the number of hours worked.
