Summary
JoJo’s Day Nursery is seeking a confident, caring, and motivated Pre-School Lead Practitioner to take responsibility for our pre-school room and support our team in delivering outstanding early years education.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the day-to-day running of the pre-school room
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
• Plan and deliver high-quality activities in line with the EYFS
• Act as a key person and build strong relationships with children and families
• Complete observations, assessments, and learning records
• Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are consistently followed
• To take an active role within the nursery leadership team and provide support and guidance to other staff within the nursery rooms.
• To be able to lead and supervise an individual room team in providing a caring and stimulating environment to encourage the children in our care’s learning and development.
• Continue to Support, guide, and motivate staff within the Preschool room
What we require.
• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
• Proven experience within a nursery or pre-school setting
• Previous room lead or senior practitioner experience is desirable
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
• A positive, professional attitude with excellent communication skills
• A team player who leads by example
