Lead Playworker - Breakfast & Afterschool Clubs
Location: Two Rivers & St Johns Primary Schools
Breakfast Club (4 days per week) - 7:30am - 8:45am
Afterschool Club (Monday to Friday) - 2.45pm - 5.30pm
Job Type: Term-Time Only
Join our friendly team delivering fun and safe activities for primary school children before and after school.

Spend time supporting children before and after school and provide valuable learning and social opportunities. You’ll be a valuable part of their day, making sure they get the most out of these sessions.
As Site Lead, you will:
Create a fun, inclusive environment before and after school
Lead a small team to deliver high-quality wraparound care
Plan and run engaging, age-appropriate activities
Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and admin tasks are completed to a high standard
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and school staff
What We’re Looking For
Site Lead – Essential:
ideally Level 2+ qualification in Childcare, Playworker or similar Or Working Towards
Experience working with primary-aged children in schools or clubs
Leadership or supervisory experience
Good safeguarding knowledge and basic IT skills
Valid (or willingness to obtain) enhanced DBS
Day-to-day tasks include:
Leading fun and engaging play activities
Supervising children aged 4–11 in a school club setting
Ensuring safeguarding and safety procedures are always followed
Serving snacks and promoting healthy habits
Working closely with parents, carers, and colleagues
Desirable (but not required):
A childcare qualification (or working towards one)
First Aid, Safeguarding, or Food Hygiene certificates
