We are seeking a reliable and conscientious Waste Operator to deliver a high-quality waste management service for patients, staff, and visitors.​

The role involves the safe, efficient, and compliant collection, segregation, transportation, and disposal of waste, including clinical, domestic, and recyclable materials, while maintaining a professional and courteous service at all times.

You will ensure that waste handling equipment and waste storage areas are kept clean, safe, and in good working order in accordance with site procedures and relevant legislation.

The Role

Collect, segregate, transport, and dispose of waste safely and in line with site procedures and legislation.

Handle clinical, domestic, and recyclable waste in accordance with infection control and health & safety standards.

Maintain clean, safe, and well-organised waste storage areas and equipment.

Respond promptly and professionally to service requests.

Support the Supervisor to ensure the effective operation of the waste management service.

Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency, safety, and environmental performance.
