Summary

Teaching Assistant – Day-to-day supply, starting as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for teaching assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings.Duties as Teaching Assistant:

• Support pupils in their learning across a range of subjects and year groups
• Assist the class teacher with classroom management and lesson preparation
• Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with additional needs
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Supervise pupils during break times, transitions, and off-site activities
• Follow safeguarding procedures and contribute to pupil well-being

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
• A relevant qualification such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Teaching Assistant
• Adaptable, reliable, and confident working in different school environments
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
