Summary

Vehicle Technician (Level 2/3) – York Ward & Rowlatt
Location: Wellingborough
Salary: Competitive + £2,000 direct‑apply signing‑on bonus
Hours: Full time (Mon–Fri) + occasional Saturdays (1 in 6)
At York Ward & Rowlatt, exceptional customer service is at the heart of everything we do — and our technicians play a vital part in delivering it. We are expanding our Aftersales team and are looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join our workshop.
An MOT licence is preferred, but we will provide MOT training within 3 months for the right candidate.

The Role
As a key member of our workshop team, you will:
• Service, maintain and repair customer vehicles to the highest standards
• Work confidently across all areas of vehicle maintenance
• Aim for first‑time fix quality in all work
• Support our growing Electric Vehicle centre with future opportunities in EV diagnostics and battery repair

Working Hours
• Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
(30‑minute lunch + two 15‑minute breaks)
• Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm (1 in 6 rota)

About You
You will need:
• NVQ Level 2 (minimum) in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Proven experience as a vehicle technician
• Your own tools
• Full UK driving licence
