Summary

We’re looking for an organised and detail focused Planning Technical Officer to join our Planning Service at East Lindsey District Council.



This is an exciting time to join us as our service continues to modernise, align processes across the Partnership, and enhance our digital systems to support efficient, customer‑focused planning delivery.



You’ll play a key part in validating planning applications, ensuring submissions meet statutory and local requirements before registration. Working closely with colleagues across the Partnership, you’ll support the smooth running of the planning process from technical checks and fee assessments to consultations, publicity, decision administration and planning appeals.



Your role will also support our ongoing evolution as you help us maintain accurate digital records, improve system use, and contribute to a consistent approach to planning processes across SELCP.

This position is a shared role within the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (SELCP) and forms part of the S113 agreement between the participating partnership Councils in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement 1st October 2021.
