About Dimensions

Turn everyday moments into difference.

At Dimensions, every day is a chance to make a real difference. As a Support Worker in Worcester, you'll bring purpose and stability to someone's life - helping an autistic man enjoy the routines and moments that matter most to him. Recognised as a Great Place to Work for seven years running, we'll support you to grow, feel valued, and take pride in the difference you make every single day.

About the Role

- Female Support Worker

- Part time - 18 hours per week

- Sutton, Norwich, Norfolk.

- Full UK Driving licence essential.

- £12.64 per hour

We are looking for a female Support Worker to join our team in Sutton, Norwich, supporting one woman. This is a values-led role, focused on helping her live each day with choice, confidence, and independence. You'll support her to follow her routines, enjoy hobbies she loves, and develop skills that matter to her, while using Dimensions' evidence-based Activate model to set positive goals and celebrate progress.

Shifts follow one long day each week: 07:00-22:00 and one half-day shift every two weeks: either 07:00-14:30 or 14:30-22:00.

A driver is essential due to limited bus routes and because the person we support really enjoys going out for drives, making it an important part of her support.

Your role will be varied and person-centred. Typical responsibilities include:

- Using the Activate model to support skill-building and goal setting across key quality-of-life areas.

- Encouraging independence and recognising every moment's potential.

- Supporting with personal care in a respectful manner.

- Providing emotional reassurance and clear, adaptive communication.

- Assisting with meal preparation, light household tasks, and medication administration.

- Using digital tools to record outcomes, progress, and support notes.

You'll work closely with her family, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure support is consistently safe, personalised, and empowering.

About You

We are a values-based employer, and we shortlist based on how well you reflect our core values: Ambition, Courage, Integrity, Partnership, and Respect.

To be successful, you will:

- Be calm, patient, and committed to providing person-centred support.

- Communicate clearly and adaptively, including recognising non-verbal cues.

- Work positively within a team and build trust with families and colleagues.

- Be comfortable supporting with personal care and everyday routines.

- Use basic digital systems for recording information.

- Be reliable and flexible to meet people's support needs.

Experience isn't essential, we provide full training. What matters most is your compassion, your willingness to learn, and your commitment to helping someone live a great life.
