Summary

The Student Administration service supports learning and teaching at UWE and helps enhance the student experience.
The Student Data and Systems community works together to join up our various business and system areas so that we do not work in siloes but contribute to a “Team UWE” approach to stewarding our student data and systems.
The External Reporting team takes the lead for compiling and submitting a wide range of statutory and compliance reporting to external bodies – including the annual HESA Student record, the ILR and Discover Uni returns, along with a range of other submissions to the Office for Students, Department for Education and other professional bodies. The team is also responsible for the provision of student operational reporting which supports business processes and helps to promote high quality student data.

About you
You will bring your skills in delivering high quality reporting in a complex organisation, along with the ability to provide information stewardship, prioritising your workload to ensure deadlines are met and that service enhancement is at the core of our endeavours. In this role, you will contribute to our reporting service and by utilising your strong analytical and solution-focused skills, you will explore ways in which you can contribute to the wider student data governance agenda.

Working with internal and external stakeholders, you will be a good communicator who is able to build productive working relationships to support the delivery of our services.

Where you will be working
In this role, you’ll be based at our modern Frenchay Campus

You’ll spend some of your time on campus, typically two days per week, with the opportunity to work from home on the remaining days.

This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week.

This post is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part-time.
