Teaching Assistants in Newport play a crucial role in schools, whether on a day-to-day, long-term, or permanent basis. The role involves supporting teachers by assisting with classroom activities, preparing educational materials, and supervising students, particularly those with additional learning needs.
Key Requirements for the Cover Supervisor role in Newport:
• Possession of CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification, or a minimum of six months relevant experience
• Confidence in managing a class of students aged 11 to 16+
• Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour to maintain student engagement
• Flexibility to work across different departments and with various age groups on a daily basis
