About the job

The role of the Support Engagement Specialist is to enhance the support of all students who receive support through Clear Links. You will be the first point of contact for students who may be unsure how to access their support. You will create a positive and supportive experience for the student, guiding them through the process and ensuring they know what to expect. You will accurately record information understanding that the wider teams will rely on this to ensure the student gets the most from their experience.

Responsibilities

• Being the first point of contact for students enquiring about accessing support
• Ensuring information is entered onto the internal systems accurately and in a timely manner
• Being responsible for proactively contacting students on a regular basis
• Identifying and working on improvements to student engagement
• Working effectively as part of a team

We are looking for (minimum criteria):

• Excellent communication skills including making and receiving calls
• Lived experience of higher education (degree-level) or equivalent professional experience.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and a proactive attitude
• Attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately
• A friendly, positive and professional demeanour
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
