We are now seeking an experienced vehicle technician / mechanic to join our dedicated and hardworking team.
The Role
As a vehicle technician at SP Autocare, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles. You will ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, with safety and quality as top priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out full vehicle inspections and routine servicing
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
* Complete repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, cambelts, and exhaust systems
* Perform MOT preparation and associated repair work
* Conduct MOT testing (if qualified as an MOT Tester)
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
What We’re Looking For
Essential qualities
* Full UK drivers licence
* Your own basic set of tools
* Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
* Strong diagnostic ability
* Reliable, punctual, and a team player who takes pride in their workmanship
Desirable qualities
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* MOT tester licence
